Information Sharing Will Enhance Nigeria’s Security– Jonathan



President Goodluck Jonathan has urged security agencies to share information in order to effectively tackle crimes in the country.
President Jonathan said this while commissioning the new Defence Intelligence Agency Headquarters Complex, Directors Transit Quarters and Works Building in Abuja, where the Chief of Staff, top military officers and diplomats all gathered to witness.
Also, the Minister of State for Defence, Mrs Olusola Obada noted that the realization of the new structure which is saving the nation N90m spent every year, would afford officers greater control of their mandate and territory.
The president said intelligence agencies operate in isolation without sharing vital information, which is not in any way helpful to the government and poses risk to the government.
